Real Madrid have agreed a world record fee of €180m with Monaco for the transfer of highly-rated striker Kylian Mbappe, reports emanating from Spain indicate.
According to Marca, the French champions will receive €160m up front with a further €20m in add-ons in a deal which dwarfs the fee Manchester United paid for Paul Pogba last year.
It is understood that the French striker is set to sign a six-year contract worth a reported €135k per week.
Mbappe scored 26 goals across all competitions last season – his first full season as a regular in the top flight of French football.
He has been chased by a lot of clubs aside Real Madrid but the European champions are looking good to snap up the striker.
