Former Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes says Real Madrid midfielder
Toni Kroos should consider retirement.
Pointing to the 18 trophies he has already won, the midfielder's former coach believes the player has already left his mark on the sport.
"He has improved a lot at Real Madrid and he plays in a way that all coaches want from their players," the former coach told Sport Bild .
"Without doubt, he is one of the best midfielders in the world and, along with Casemiro and [Luka] Modric, he's part of the best midfield in the world.
"He is 27 and has won three Champions League, a treble with Bayern Munich and a World Cup.
"He should hang up his boots."
